A former cop has helped his colleagues out with a sugar fix after leaving some biscuits on the windscreen of their vehicle whilst they were away from their marked police vehicle.
@NoTracePNC shared a video on Twitter of the officers returning to their vehicle and said:
‘Noticed a cop car in my local supermarket so made a quick biscuit run to leave on the windshield.
‘Hope @DurhamPolice enjoyed!’
In the video footage (below) you can clearly see the initial look of surprise as one of the officers notices that a package has been left on his vehicle.
The officer pauses for a few moments in order to read the note before turning around to show his colleague.
Both officers then smile before getting back into their vehicle.
