A man has been charged with assault after two police officers were attacked as they dealt with a fatal collision.
On Saturday 12th December 2020, Nicholas Royston, 42, of Rosmead Street in Hull, was charged with assaulting the two officers.
Just after midday on Friday 11th December, the officers were on the A63 dealing with the fatal road traffic collision when they were assaulted.
One officer sustained facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
Nicholas Royston was remanded and appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Saturday 12th December.
Humberside Police have released no further details.
