A middle-aged woman has been charged with the theft of hundreds of pounds from a hospital charity box.
Emma Andrews is accused of entering Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham’s Cancer Centre, forcing the lid of the charity pot open and stealing approximately £400 at around 10pm on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old, from Harborne, has been charged with burglary. She was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
