We Don’t Mind Being Trolled. As Long As The Trolls Don’t Mind Us Sharing Our ‘Conversations’

Being a ‘pro’ emergency services page that tries to show the ‘lighter’ side of serving in the emergency services, then you would think that anyone motivated to send us an ‘anti’ emergency services related message (in this case, about the ‘Popo’) might have clocked on to the fact that we have zero foxtrots to give.

In the main, we tend to swerve most internet trolls as they look for people to send messages to via the anonymity of the internet.

However, we thought that we would share the following highly intelligent thought-provoking conversation that we had with a troll who goes by the name of ‘Dod’.

‘Dod’ does not like the police. Which is fine. Its a free country and no-one is forced to like anyone else – even though ‘Dod’ seems to think that most of our 127,000 coppers are all wrong’uns.

Dod seemed to take exception to the fact that we shared a positive story about the Police, because Dod, having only ever read negative stories about the police, seems to think that all coppers are bullies with nothing else better to do with their time other than to, well, bully people.

Most people within the emergency services tend to acknowledge that the only people who tend to harbour hate towards the police are: criminals, family and friends of criminals, people who break the law (but who aren’t sent to court) and people who have read too many anti-police articles which are churned out by some sections of the anti-police mainstream media.

Stories where you ONLY ever hear one side of the story, because the police officers concerned in the incident are not allowed to speak publicly about it.

One of the reasons why we started our Emergency-Servies.News website, was to show people the kind of stories which our emergency services brethren and brethwomen (?!) have to endure on a daily basis.

The calls which you never hear about. The vicious assaults inflicted upon our colleagues which get swept under the carpet. The heart-warming stories where a police officer has reunited a lost child with their parents. The stories of police officers who have sat comforting bereaved relatives who have lost a loved-one.

The kind of stories which the mainstream media tend not to be that interested in, for whatever reason………

I am not saying that, out of 125,000 or so police officers, that ALL of them are ‘great’.

But you will ALWAYS find some bad apples in a good bunch. That’s just the way things are. But most people tend to realise that the majority of coppers are spot-on.

But there will always be ‘Dod’s out there who seem not to be able to possess the presence-of-mind required to understand that not ALL police officers are ‘bad’ and that not all police officers are ‘jobsworths’ and that not all police officers were ‘bullied at school’.

Anyway, here’s our chat with Dod who kept us entertained for about 15 minutes. Thanks Dod, and good luck with your ‘groups’ – I am sure you will attract a lovely bunch of well-informed individuals. Keep up the good work yeah?

(As you will see from the conversation below, we have no idea about the story that Dod was trying to tell us about even though we did ask him to send something over. We have also hidden the profanities).

Dod: tell me again why the UK cops are supposed to be Great, i get sick of you lot posting all the good stuff, but refuse to post the truth,!! trying to show the UK cops care and are very fair,, 80% idiot coppers with chips on there shoulders and 20% decent coppers,, ex army tits are the worst, that pensioner in the pic i sent you is 73 years old was recovering from a Stroke,,??

the idiot copper could see that he was a pensioner,, bunch of steroid junkies coppers,, Yeah i thought so,, you will never post the real truth about the police,, but al start a group showing stuff like this and on every post i will say Emergency Humour will not post,,police abuse,!!

(Dod then sent us several grainy pictures of a police officer and a male that did not tell us anything really about the situation, other than that there was a ‘situation’)

ESH: Where’s the video of what happened and we’ll take a look at it. Unless you was there and can give us a personal account ?

Dod: like said no panic i posted on my own groups,,very brave hiding behind a group name aren’t you, , you must be a copper,, The people in my groups will make there own mids up whether they want to hate the police or not,, am trying to build a real picture of you lot,!! so no worries,, just you keep hiding, time to call ACAB,,i mean A CAB lmfao,!!

ESH: sorry mate, I don’t get your point? Why have you messaged our page? What is your point?

Dod: wtf,, you just sent me a message, i answered, now your saying why,, read all your messages before you reply would be a good start,???

ESH: You messaged us waffling about some incident that you weren’t even involved in, combined with some anti-police rhetoric. Your messages don’t make any sense. I read that many messages each day, that unless your message is interesting then I will get bored and will just zone out.

Dod: great stuff keep it coming, screenshot everything and post it on my Groups,, telling the truth is not police hate matey boy,, it shows the public how much they think they are the kings of the land and us peasants have to snivel up to,, lmfao,, the police have zero respect for the public so why should the public have any respect for the coppers, lmfao,, you got to be a copper,, trying to act all cool, and big lmfao,, the police deserve everything they get from the public,, ignorant ****s,lol,, go on Trot along big boy,,

ESH: I thought you would have done better than that. I’m afraid you have failed the ‘interesting’ test and have therefore caused me to become bored reading your messages of hate. Good luck with your anti-Police groups. What’s the groups name by the way? I might join it – I like a good laugh, Dod.

Dod: like I would tell you,, got to give you 10 out of 10 for trying there, but no cigar matey boy,,

ESH: That’s a shame. I was looking forward to it. Just like I am looking forward to seeing footage of you in the news taking on the next terrorists that decide to try and murder innocent civilians – i’m sure you will do a MUCH better job than the police in trying to keep our country safe

Dod: is that all you got,?? just because you walk around with guns,, wooptie fking doo,!! i was in army matey boy,, no need to try impress me,, we can all be tough dudes with guns,, was that supposed to impress me,?? keeping the country safe,

ESH So while your sat here messaging us about how much you hate the police, the very same police will be putting their lives on the line to keep you safe. Which regiment was you in ?

DOD risking there lives hahahahaha,, you Brilliant,!! Highlander matey boy,,your boring me now,, you got sod all I want to hear,,, your just trying to make out the cops are big and tough lmfao,, once again no police hate,, just speaking truth and fact,, which you can’t stand, lol

ESH I guess you forgot about the PC who was murdered last year by terrorists. And the coppers who took on the terrorists. Its ok Dod, you do a great job of keeping the terrorists at bay behind your keyboard. Keep up the sterling work. Your making the country proud with your dedication to keeping us all safe as we walk the streets (from behind your keyboard).

DOD ah didums, is that all you can use,, you pointed out 2 things,, in a year,, when there are 100’s of police abusing the public cases,?? yeah your funny,, holding onto 2 things to try and boost police support,, yeah the publics bored with that as well, keep trying you might change my mind,,

ESH: Dod, if you think I give two hoots about what you think then I genuinely feel sorry for you.

I could not care less what you think. I was just trying to help you remember things which you seem to have forgotten. You keep sharing your anti-Police stuff and I will keep sharing my positive Police content. You have kept me entertained whilst having a dump, as I have been constipated of late.

You look after yourself out there Dod, and remember not to bother the police if ever you get into trouble. Their time is best spent on people who are worthy of their help. Bye Dod.

END

So there we have it.

If there are any other ‘Dods’ out there who want to waste their time messaging us with similar tripe, then please be aware that we don’t share ‘anti’ stories about the emergency services on our page because, quite frankly, we are a ‘pro’ emergency services page.

If you are a ‘Dod’ and you want to satisfy your hunger for negative stories about the police, then there are plenty of other ‘news’ outlets out there where you can quench your anti-police thirst.

“In Dod we trust”….

Before you go...

WE NEED YOUR HELP.Here at Emergency Services News, we aim to tell you stories that the mainstream media are not interested in reporting. Whilst the MSM love to berate and ridicule the emergency services, who is there to report on the realities of serving on the front line?

Emergency Services News is currently a loss-making entity. But our team of volunteers, all former emergency services personnel, do not do it for the money.

We do it because we are sick and tired of the mainstream media constantly trying to undermine the men and women who put their lives on the line to keep you and your family safe.

How many MSM journalists who speak ill of the emergency services have actually dared to don the uniform and risk their own lives to save the life of a complete stranger? If you would like to help back our mission of reporting on fact-based news, then please consider helping to support us financially.

You can support emergency services news from as little as £1. It only takes a minute. Every contribution, however big or small, is vital for our future.

Please help us to continue to highlight the life-saving work of the emergency services, NHS and armed forces by becoming a supporter.
