A video has been shared on Twitter of the moment when a police officer was punched to the ground as he retreated from a hostile crowd during the protests in London last night (4th June).
In the video (below), two officers can be seen retreating from a hostile crowd after they were heavily outnumbered.
As one of the officers nears the corner of a street, a man wearing green runs towards him and punches him in the face, knocking the officer to the ground.
As the attacker runs away from the officer, members of the crowd can be heard clapping.
It is not known at this stage how serious the officer’s injuries were.

Absolute moronic savages. I’m sick to death of all this BLM. All lives matter-except criminals, they don’t matter. I hope the officer wasn’r seriously injured and the scum is brought to justice (although the sentence will be predictably pathetic)>
