Sussex Police have released some dashcam footage of the moment when a dodgy driver fled from Roads Policing Units. Officers indicated for the vehicle to stop after a quick PNC check revealed a different vehicle to the one associated with the vehicle registration mark.
Instead of pulling over and taking responsibility for his poor decisions, the driver floored it and reached speeds of over 60 mph in a 30 mph zone in his bid to escape.
Thinking he could outwit the officers by going off-road, the driver of the Citreon became wedged between a signpost and a parked car.
