West Midlands Police (Traffic) have released some dashcam and body-cam footage of a pursuit that happened in Birmingham in July 2020.
Officers in an unmarked police vehicle indicated for the cloned Skoda Octavia to stop, but it failed to do so.
During the pursuit, the driver of the fleeing vehicle, who has not been named, repeatedly reversed into officers cars in a bid to try and escape.
But it wasn’t long before the driver was detained and charged with multiple offences—more details in the video.

22 months, out in 11. Utter nonsense. He should spend the rest of this ban plus the new one inside. He should further be jailed for at least a year for dangerous driving, another year for the cloning and another for resisting arrest. This would see him locked up for at least 5 years, if not longer. Any future driving offences would see the sentences double on each occasion. Put another way, on his fourth serious driving offence (including this one), he would be locked up for 40 years.
Only then will we see people start to behave again, which is what we want. If they do not, then they are taken out of circulation where they can do no mischief. He was described as an Asian male. If he is not a British citizen, he should be immediately deported and interned until put on a plane. If his family cannot cope without resorting to benefits, they can all go too.
Apart from cleaning up our streets, we also need to clear out criminal foreigners. This is a country for law abiding British citizens of any race, creed or colour. The second anybody abuses our great nation, they must be swiftly and firmly dealt with.
