A member of the Metropolitan POlices’ Special Escort Group (SEG) has been hospitalised after being struck by a minicab only a short distance from Kensington Palace.
The incident happened on Tuesday 21st January at around 11:00 hours.
The specially trained motorcycle cop was riding his marked police bike through Paddington, west London when the collision took place in Gloucester Terrace.
The officer was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
The driver of the car was not injured, and no arrests were made.
The Met Officer has since been released from hospital.
