A snooping drone keeping a watching eye on some Essex Police officers as they carried out some enquiries ended up leading officers to a suspected stolen truck.
The officers were in the middle of recovering a stolen digger in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, when they became aware of a drone that was watching them.
Perhaps realising that his drone had been spotted, the drone operator landed it in a nearby field.

As officers investigated the area where the drone had landed, they spotted that it had touched down next to a truck; with the drone’s pilot still nearby.

Some enquiries on the truck soon established that it had also been stolen.
The pilot of the drone was arrested for numerous offences, and the stolen truck, as well as the stolen digger, have been recovered.
