Nottinghamshire Police has released dramatic body-worn video footage of the moment when officers pulled a male from a canal.
In the footage, several officers can be seen helping to pull the barely conscious male from the canal.
One officer, without any regard for his own safety, had already entered the canal to prevent the male from slipping beneath the murky water.
Officers stayed with the victim until the emergency ambulance service arrived. The male made a full recovery.
It is not clear as to how the male ended up in the canal.
