A man has been charged after a young child was seriously injured in a collision in Margate.
On Sunday 10th January, Kent Police were called to a collision between a van and a car in Dane Valley Road, just after 14:00 hours.
A boy, who had been a passenger in the van, was rushed to a London hospital that specialises in paediatric care. He remains there in a serious, but stable, condition.
Jacek Jarosz, 49, of William Avenue in Margate, has since been charged with driving whilst unfit through drink and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He is due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 12 January 2021.
