West Yorkshire Police have charged a man after two police officers were seriously assaulted.
Corbin Samuels, 28, of The Grove, Idle, has been charged with two counts of wounding with intent.
The serious charges relate to an incident which occurred at a property in Idle on Wednesday morning (20th May).
Samuels was also charged with importing a prohibited firearm and was remanded into custody to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court today (22nd May).
The officers have since been discharged from hospital after suffering arm and head injuries.
