Warwickshire Police have arrested a 38-year-old man after a PCSO was assaulted in Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The incident occurred on Wednesday 19th February near to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre,
Police were called to the area after receiving reports about a male who was being verbally abusive to members of the public.
The man allegedly pushed the PCSO as she tried to speak to him about the allegations. The PCSO was not injured.
After his arrest, officers searched the male and found that he had a small lock knife. When the male was searched again in custody, he was found to have another two smaller lock knives.
The man was arrested on suspicion of a committing a public order offence, assaulting an emergency worker, and possession of offensive weapons.
