A man has been arrested after a vehicle mounted the kerb and hit two pedestrians in Sloane Square, SW1, earlier this afternoon.
The emergency services were called to the scene after the incident and found a vehicle that had been abandoned.
The London Ambulance Service also attended the scene and treated the two pedestrians for their injuries. Both pedestrians were taken to hospital, and their current condition is not known.
Cordons have been put up around the scene, as officers searched the vehicle. As a precaution, buildings in the nearby area were also evacuated.
One male has been arrested, at this stage, for motoring offences.
The Met Police has confirmed that the incident is not being treated as terror-related.
