Police have closed the M4 Heathrow Spur road after a “serious incident”.
Officers were called to the scene shortly after 12.30pm today (Thursday 20th Feb) following a two-vehicle collision.
One man is reported to have died in the collision.
The road is currently closed northbound between junction 4a and junction 4 as the emergency services deal with the incident.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police are managing the scene. London’s Air Ambulance was also sent to the location.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said:
“Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene.
“One adult male was pronounced dead at the scene by an air ambulance doctor.
“His next-of-kin have been informed.
“One person has suffered non life-threatening or life-changing injuries.”
The latest update from the Highways Agency advises:
“Customers wishing to leave Heathrow Airport are advised to travel to J14, M25.
“From here they can continue their journey.
“There are also delays on the spur road in to the airport so please allow extra time for your journey’.
The road is expected to be closed for the next several hours as accident investigators from the Metropolitan Police gather and collate evidence from the scene.
