PC Charlie Guenigault was stabbed five times as he ran towards evil during the London Bridge attack on 3rd June 2017.
8 innocent civilians died in the barbaric, evil and senseless attack whilst many others were injured.
PC Guenigault, who was off duty at the time of the attack, confronted the callous murderers and was repeatedly stabbed in the head, back and stomach.
He was on his way home after watching the Champions League final when three attackers used a van to knock down innocent and
Having seen the evil and horror that was unfolding before him, PC Guenigault, who was unarmed, ran towards the three attackers and battled with them using his bare hands as he tried to protect the people around him.
The three murderers were shot by armed police who were able to respond to the incident within several minutes.

He was also recognised for his heroic actions in the Pride of Britain Award (outstanding bravery) in 2017 and was also awarded the George Medal from the Queen last October.
The George Medal (GM) is the second level civil decoration of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.
The GM was instituted on 24 September 1940 by King George VI.
The medal is presented to those performing acts of bravery in, or meriting recognition by, the United Kingdom.
