A motorist has been charged with driving offences and assaulting emergency workers (Kent).
William Reader was arrested in St Gregory’s Crescent on Wednesday 26 June 2019 following reports of dangerous driving across Gravesend.
After being arrested, he is alleged to have assaulted a nurse and four police officers.
The 23-year-old, of Nobles Mead, Gravesend, has also been charged with dangerous driving, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving without insurance or a licence.
He was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon (a baton) in a public place.
Reader has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrate’s Court on Friday 28 June 2019.
