A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police has confirmed that officers were called to a mosque in Park Road, Nw8, at 15.10 hours today (Thursday 20th February) to reports of a stabbing.
Officers attended the scene along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
A man was found with stab injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
It is believed that the victim was stabbed in the neck during Asr prayer.
ESN understands that the victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
One male was arrested at the scene for attempted murder. A crime scene has been put in place as enquiries continue.
