A drug user who boarded a bus in Manchester before boasting about thE fact he had “just bought the best drugs in Manchester” was arrested yesterday by plain-clothed officers who were on the same bus.
The male had been shouting at and abusing other passengers on the bus and spoke openly about his purchase.
He did not realise that officers from the Transport Unit were on the same bus and were listening to his every word.
The officers introduced themselves to the male and seized his drugs before escorting him off the bus.
He was arrested at the scene and booked into a local police station.

We need your help. As former emergency services & armed forces personnel, we pride ourselves on bringing you important, fast-moving and breaking news stories which are free from the negative bias which is often directed at the emergency services by some sections of the mainstream media.
One of the reasons we started 'Emergency Services News' was because we became tired of reading badly informed stories about the emergency services which seemed only ever to highlight negative aspects of the job.
