A London Ambulance Service based Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) paramedic has had his private vehicle stolen whilst he responded to 999 calls accross the capital.

The white Land Rover vrm: SL12 LCX had been parked at an ambulance station in Canning Town, east London (E16) whilst the paramedic was busy racing to emergency calls.

In a tweet shared on the @LAS_Hart twitter page, a spokesperson for the specialist unit said:

‘While out responding to an emergency call last night, one of our Paramedics had his car stolen from our ambulance station’

The vehicle is a white Discovery 4 registration: SL12 LCX. On the rear screen, the vehicle had a ‘Disco4’ sticker.

It also has a front sump guard, rock sliders and front spot lights.

The vehicle was stolen between the hours of 1900 – 0500.

An appeal is being made to try and locate the vehicle before it is potentially stripped and burnt down, or before it gets shipped out of the country.

If you see the vehicle, then please contact the police via 101.

Please share this article and let’s see if we can track the vehicle down before it is too late!
