When you serve on the front line of the emergency services, then small gestures of gratitude can often go a long way.
These gestures of goodwill from kind-hearted members of the public take many forms. Such as the offer of a free cup of tea or coffee as well as the occasional bag of chips.
One Paramedic based with the East of England Ambulance service came across a gesture of
And it wasn’t your usual free cup of tea or coffee.
Walking towards his RRV, paramedic Lee Thompson saw that someone had left a hand-written note on his vehicle.
Paramedic Lee Thompson tweeted:
‘On the South Yarmouth RRV today, after treating a patient went back to the car to find a note on the windscreen’
The hand written note said:
‘Hi,
‘We came to clean windows of the house you were parked outside of, but we were unable to park.
‘So we parked somewhere else and cleaned your car windows!
‘Keep up the good work

Although emergency services personnel, and in particular the ambulance service, have been used to notes being left on their vehicles recently, it makes a nice change to be able to share the details of a positive note, rather than a rude one!
