Paramedics Called ‘Brain Dead Idiots’ By Group Of Males As They Treated A Patient

Paramedics in north west London had to endure being verbally abused by a group of seven males whilst they treated a patient who was in a critical condition.

An emergency ambulance accompanied by a rapid response vehicle had been called to a residential address in order to give life-saving medical aid to a patient.

But a group of males took exception to where the life-savers had parked their vehicles in order to save someones life.

A tweet published on the @LAS_NorthWest twitter page said:

‘Our ambulance & fast response car had to block a one way road.

‘We were responding to the highest category patient we have, with no parking.

‘We were subjected to shouts & called “brain dead idiots” by 6-7 grown men… while literally carrying our patient out’.

Followers were quick to stick up for the crew:

The mindless actions of the males who hurled the verbal abuse at the medics clearly does not represent the views of the vast majority of the general public, as shown by the support of the general public in more of the comments which were left on the original tweet:
