Welsh Ambulance Service Falls Victim To Mindless Thieves Again

Thieves in Ebbw Vale have stolen the bonnet of a Welsh Ambulance Service vehicle.

The bonnet of the vehicle was stolen on Friday evening while it was parked and unattended in Beaufort.

The vehicle forms part of the Welsh Ambulance Services fleet maintenance division and is vital for helping to keep ambulances on the road.

The Welsh Ambulance Service appealed on social media for people to come forward with information.

This latest incident comes just 12 days after emergency ambulances were damaged as thieves tried to syphon fuel out of their tanks.

A private vehicle belonging to a member of staff was also damaged during the incident which saw clueless thieves trying to steal fuel out of a fully electric car that was clearly marked as such.

People with information should contact Gwent Police on 101 and quote incident number 2000012307.
