PC Andrew Harper To Be Honoured With Formal Police Funeral

The family of PC Andrew Harper have confirmed that they would like a formal police funeral for the hero PC who was killed after responding to a burglary in August.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said:

‘We would like to thank the public, the wider police family and our partners for all of their support and tributes to our colleague PC Andrew Harper’.

‘Andrew’s family has confirmed that they wish for a formal police funeral to take place.

‘We will continue to work closely with Andrew’s family so that their wishes are front and centre and ensure that the funeral is a fitting tribute that honours our colleague Andrew’s strength, courage and bravery.

‘At this time we are not able to confirm any further details of the arrangements but will do so when we are able.

‘The family have asked that their privacy be respected at this very difficult time’.

  • Where and when will the funeral take place. I would deem it a privilege to join the funeral cortège to honour our fallen brother. With my American Law Enforcement Vehicle.if possible.
