Woman Saved By Her Dog After Being Sexually Assaulted

Police in Norfolk are appealing for information following an incident in Great Ellingham earlier this week.

A woman was walking a dog on Mill Lane at around 20:30 hours on Tuesday 11 June when she was approached by a man who touched her inappropriately.

It’s believed that the man ran away after being bitten by the dog.

The victim also believes she may have passed out following the incident but was not injured.

Officers are currently trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact them.

Norfolk Constabulary have confirmed that there will be additional patrols in the area over the coming days to reassure local residents and anyone with information is encouraged to speak to them.
